Demand for application security and services is on the rise in Thailand, says the local boss of F5 Networks. Based on an internal survey conducted by F5 Networks Thailand with 2,000 IT professional respondents globally, respondents use 14 app services currently, up from 11 in 2016. They are planning to use 17 app services in the next 12 months. To create new revenue, Mr Watchara said F5 Networks Thailand will focus on developing app security and other app services this year, rather than focusing on only app delivery services. "We expect our revenue to grow by 20-30% this year, thanks to the lucrative prospects of the app security industry, he said.
